Qualifications:

• Current licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience in school-based, home health, healthcare, or teletherapy OT settings
• Skilled at developing and implementing effective interventions for middle school-aged students
• Strong communication abilities to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
• Dedication to fostering participation, confidence, and academic success in young learners
• Adaptability to work with small group models and adjust activities per student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans addressing fine motor skills, self-regulation, sensory processing, and daily living strategies
• Deliver engaging therapy sessions in a group setting, promoting collaboration and peer support
• Document progress, adjust interventions, and communicate regularly with the school team
• Educate staff and families on strategies for carryover of therapy goals within the school and home
• Incorporate innovative approaches—onsite or via teletherapy, as needed—to meet each student’s unique needs
