Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cardiac Catheterization Lab – Northwest Florida

Start Date: August 17, 2026

Location: Fort Walton Beach, Florida

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM; STEMI call coverage approximately 10-12 days per month; self-scheduling available

Highlights:

• State-of-the-art cardiac catheterization laboratory equipped with GE Innova technology and advanced hemodynamic support devices including Impella
• Comprehensive procedural mix including PCI, structural heart interventions (TAVR, PFO closure), atherectomy, R/LHC, device implants, and advanced support (IABP, Impella)
• Self-scheduling model with experienced, tenured staff providing collaborative team environment
• 7-bed holding unit utilizing MacLab and Meditech documentation systems
• Limited floating policy within cardiac service line departments (EP and Stress Lab)
• Part of a 257-bed acute care hospital offering open heart surgery and Advanced Primary Stroke Center services

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Florida or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Cardiac catheterization lab experience with demonstrated competency in interventional procedures
• Experience with structural heart procedures, hemodynamic support devices (IABP, Impella), and advanced techniques (IFR, FFR) strongly preferred
• Proficiency in PCI, PFO closure, atherectomy, and advanced cardiac interventions desired
