Overview Our 12‑month transition‑to‑practice Nurse Residency program prepares new graduate nurses through education, mentorship and peer support. It combines precepted orientation led by dedicated preceptors with blended learning experiences. Program Details Program starts October2026. Residents will develop clinical judgment, communication skills, and engage in cohort experiences for professional socialization. Opportunities Acute Care Critical Care Emergency Department Women's Services Cardiovascular/Progressive Care Surgical Services Transplant and more Responsibilities Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle. Apply nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff. Maintain standards of practice and adhere to policies and procedures. Demonstrate professional growth and accountability. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Leadership skills Effective communication Initiative Independent judgment Ability to handle stressful environments Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
