Behavioral Health TechnicianPay Range: $23.50 - $29.84 This position follows a rotating two week schedule of 3 twelve-hour shifts one week and 4 twelve-hour shifts the next, providing regular overtime opportunities! Behavioral Health Technicians are vital members of the Community Housing team and provide necessary oversight in our residential properties. The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for providing support services to severely mentally ill community housing residents and supervising their activities. Daily work consists of monitoring residents in our supportive living homes, encouraging residents to maintain a clean environment, and daily meal prep. You may be asked to accompany residents on group outings or participate in group activities, so a valid drivers license and personal insurance are required. This is a great position to start a career in human services or behavioral health!Minimum Qualifications:High School diploma or GED ANDOne year of experience in an environment that requires interaction with a broad cross section of people.Preferred Qualifications:Experience providing direct service in the field of human services.Candidates holding a BH Certificate and/or CNA license are eligible for increased compensation. Pay rates offered are determined based on a standardized scale that considers relevant experience and education.
