Role Description The Area Experience Leader is a full-time, on-site role based in the Redding–Red Bluff area, responsible for driving client experience and operational excellence across multiple offices. This role oversees day-to-day service delivery, ensuring that associates provide accurate, timely, and friendly support to tax clients. The Area Experience Leader coaches and develops office teams, leads training and performance feedback, and supports recruitment and onboarding activities. Daily activities include monitoring key performance metrics, supporting sales and local marketing efforts, resolving client escalations, and implementing company initiatives that enhance client satisfaction. The role collaborates closely with local leaders and associates to maintain high standards, optimize workflows, and create a welcoming environment that reflects H&R Block’s purpose and values. Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate, coach, and build positive relationships across diverse teams. Demonstrated analytical skills to interpret performance data, identify trends, and make informed decisions that improve client and operational outcomes. Proficiency in sales and client service, including the ability to promote services, support local marketing initiatives, and drive growth within the area. Experience in training and team development, including facilitating learning sessions, mentoring associates, and supporting skill-building efforts. Negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities to address client concerns, manage escalations, and align stakeholders on solutions. Previous experience in retail, service, or multi-unit operations leadership is beneficial. Comfort working with business software and reporting tools; familiarity with tax or financial services is a plus. Ability to work on-site in the Yreka - Mt. Shasta area, with flexibility to visit multiple locations as needed. Bachelor's degree from accredited university preferred, graduate degree in business a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr H&R Block
