Program Support Assistant (OA)

Major duties include, but are not limited to:

• Independently carries out recurring clerical or administrative tasks without specific instructions however, instruction may be provided for new or difficult assignments.
• Creates, maintains and modifies spreadsheets, reports, charts/graphs and other records for daily operations.
• Serves as timekeeper and record keeper for time and attendance.
• Greets visitors and routes calls/inquiries to appropriate staff.
• Compiles, maintains, and updates employee data records for emergency purposes.
• Assists employees with computer system access issues; resets passwords, creates user accounts, assigns menus/keys.
• Maintains the Assistant Chief's calendar; schedules meetings and training sessions.
• Submits travel plans and assists with scheduling trips, making reservations, reserving flights, rental cars, meal allowances, and subsequent expense report.
• Receives requests for clean linen and must distribute accordingly. Maintains records to determine amounts of linen produced, distributed and used.
• Uses initiative and good judgment to handle complaints and/or emergency situations concerning housekeeping, sanitation, pest control and other Environmental Management Service functions.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
