Registered Nurse

Sinai Hospital's Pulmonary and Infectious Disease Unit is a 37-bed adult medical-surgical acute care unit specializing in chronic ventilator patients, respiratory conditions, infectious diseases, and peritoneal dialysis. It's a high-acuity, fast-paced environment caring for some of the hospital's most complex medical patients.

Summary:
Under the direction of the unit manager, this role provides direct clinical patient care. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct age-appropriate clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse License
• Basic Life Support Certification
• Less than one year of experience required
