We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Part Time Warehouse Sorter to join our dynamic team. This entry-level role is integral to ensuring the timely and accurate sorting and loading of packages before trucks depart at 8am. Attention to detail is crucial in this busy environment, and proficiency in reading and writing English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in unloading packages and allocate them to their designated locations within the warehouse.
• Ensure all packages are sorted accurately and on time to meet the 8am truck departure deadline.
• Follow sorting sheets to identify package destinations.
• Lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Stand for periods of up to 60 minutes and perform repetitive movements such as bending and squatting.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in reading and writing English.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work under pressure.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, squatting, and standing for extended periods.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• General labor experience in sorting, labeling, packing, picking, loading, and unloading.
• Experience with RF scanners and inventory management.
• Team player with a strong work ethic.
• Warehouse experience is not required, but physical fitness and good teamwork are essential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hyde Park, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
