Compensation:  Base salary $60,000 – $72,000 base per year, DOE+ uncapped commission

About the Role

We are a growing consumer-products company specializing in luggage & bags, seasonal products, and furniture. We are looking for a high-energy Field Sales Representative to grow our wholesale and retail customer base across the East Los Angeles area. This is a boots-on-the-ground role: you will visit stores, warehouses, and trade shows, build relationships face to face, and own your territory from first knock to closed deal. Key Responsibilities

• Prospect and visit retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and other potential customers in person across the assigned territory.

• Present and demonstrate our luggage & bags, seasonal, and furniture product lines; provide samples, catalogs, and quotations.

• Develop new accounts and grow repeat orders from existing customers; own the full sales cycle from cold outreach to closing.

• Negotiate pricing and terms within company guidelines and follow up on orders, deliveries, and after-sales issues.

• Gather market and competitor intelligence from the field and report customer feedback to management.

• Represent the company at local trade shows, markets, and promotional events as needed.

• Maintain accurate records of visits, leads, and sales pipeline; report progress on a weekly basis.

Qualifications

• Energetic and self-motivated with strong execution — you set goals, get out the door, and get things done.

• Willingness to challenge yourself, take on new markets, and learn quickly from rejection.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable initiating conversations with strangers.

• Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese strongly preferred.

• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle; able to travel locally daily (mileage reimbursed).

• Prior experience in outside sales, door-to-door sales, wholesale, or retail is a plus but not required — we value drive over résumé.

• Authorized to work in the United States.
