Technician III

Job Overview

The RRT Machining Technician II supports rapid prototyping and expedited manufacturing by setting up and operating CNC equipment to produce prototype and low-volume production components. This role works closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality parts while meeting aggressive customer and development timelines.

Job Requirements

Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and related machining equipment. Interpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications. Perform machining, deburring, inspection, and documentation activities. Troubleshoot basic machining and setup issues. Support prototype and expedited production builds to meet customer requirements. Collaborate with engineers on manufacturability and process improvements. Maintain equipment, tooling, and work areas in accordance with safety, 5S, and TEOA standards.

What Your Background Should Look Like

High school diploma or equivalent. CNC machining experience in a manufacturing or prototype environment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T. Proficient with precision measurement tools. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Compensation

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $65,600 - $93,300 (subject to change dependent on physical location). Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits.
