Phlebotomist Casual
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a casual phlebotomist for a Patient Service Center or Client office in Waycross, Georgia. The role involves performing blood collections, processing specimens, entering patient data, and providing customer service. Work schedule is Monday-Friday, 5am-7pm with rotating weekends.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Enter patient information and process billing data accurately
- Prepare specimens for testing and maintain information logs
- Provide exceptional customer service and perform administrative duties as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- At least 21 years old
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
