Caregiver Position

The Caregiver position involves providing high-quality care and companionship to our clients. This includes assisting with daily activities, medication reminders, stand-by support, and light housekeeping. You will play a vital role in helping our clients maintain a comfortable and fulfilling life.

Some clients may smoke or have pets, so ensure you are comfortable with this before applying.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Companionship: Engage in conversations and activities that bring joy to your client's day.
• Support: Provide stand-by assistance with transfers and mobility, which may include lifting or supporting clients weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Medication Reminders: Help clients adhere to their medication schedules.
• Errands & Housekeeping: Assist with running errands, light housekeeping, and maintaining a clean, comfortable living space.
• Physical Assistance: Aid clients with daily living activities, which may involve lifting, bending, and reaching to assist with transfers, bathing, dressing, and other personal care tasks.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D certificate preferred
• Experience: 1 year of caregiving experience or relevant certifications (CNA, HHA, HCA, PCA preferred but not required).
• Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable personal vehicle.
• Background Check: Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Shift Options

• Morning/Afternoon: Ideal for early risers.
• Evening/Overnight: Perfect for those seeking flexibility.
• Short/Long Shifts: Options include 4-hour, 8-hour, 12-hour, and more to suit your availability.
