Responsibilities

• Apply nursing knowledge and skills in the delivery of care, including medication administration and interventions.
• Assess patient and family needs, creating individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Promote, advocate for, and protect the health, safety, and rights of the patient.
• Provide patient and family education to ensure understanding of self-care post-discharge.
• Engage in quality improvement activities to enhance nursing practice and care delivery.
• Create a healing environment by developing meaningful connections with patients and their families.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least 1 year in an Endoscopy environment.
• Active NYS RN Licensure.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS.
