A Practice Manager manages the day-to-day business operations of a medical clinic. Their duties include ensuring the practice provides reliable customer service, overseeing staff recruitment and training, and managing budgets. Responsibilities Implementing and monitoring quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and practice efficiency Hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating clinical staff like receptionists and medical support staff, creating staff schedules and managing time off Collaborating with physicians, clinical staff, and other departments to ensure coordinated patient care and address practice challenges Interacting with patients and addressing any concerns or complaints Qualifications High School Diploma/GED 2+ years of management or leadership experience, particularly in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment Backgrounds such as Assistant Restaurant Manager, Hospitality Manager and Restaurant General Managers have been proven to be great fits.
