Mobile Phlebotomist

Job Description

The Mobile Phlebotomist is responsible for performing blood collection and specimen handling while working independently. This role involves routine and emergency patient sample collection with a focus on accurate patient identification and clear communication. The Mobile Phlebotomist reports as an individual contributor, ensuring proper record keeping and safe sample transport for laboratory analysis.

Responsibilities

Collect blood samples from patients in various settings, including routine and emergency situations
Label specimens accurately to ensure traceability
Verify patient identification to maintain sample integrity
Maintain detailed and accurate records of collections and patient interactions
Communicate effectively with patients regarding the collection process
Transport samples safely to designated laboratory facilities

Required Qualifications

Certification in Phlebotomy
