Job Opportunity – Medical Oncology – South Carolina

Start Date: July 1st (preferred)

Location: South Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Clinic hours 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Weekend call rotation every 5th or 6th weekend (Friday 4:30 PM through Monday 8:00 AM). Weekly call schedule rotates every 6–8 weeks.

• Case mix: 65% benign hematology, 35% malignant oncology
• Outpatient volume averages 25 patients per day; inpatient rounding averages 20 patients per day
• Collaborative environment with 7 physicians and 6 advanced practice providers
• EPIC EMR system in place
• Initial 6-month assignment with extension opportunity through December 2026 and beyond

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Hematology and Oncology required
• Active South Carolina medical license required
• BLS and DEA certifications required
• Willingness to provide inpatient coverage is mandatory
• Must be available to work a minimum of 2 weeks per month
• Clean background check and Self-Query NPDB report (within 30 days) required
• Credentialing timeframe is approximately 60 days
