Job Title: Project ManagerJob Description The Project Manager is responsible for employing the best methodologies to create project plans that align with stakeholders' and customers' needs, ensuring delivery within budget and on desired outcomes. This role holds full accountability for mold projects and mold maintenance programs, acting as the driving force that unites the project. Leading with passion, the Project Manager develops consensus among all participants, ensuring project quality, profitability, and delivery expectations are met or exceeded, leading to customer satisfaction. Responsibilities + Act as a point of contact for customer interactions with the Birdsboro plant. + Communicate with customers to clarify their order requirements. + Collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure customer requirements are met for each project. + Coordinate with vendors to ensure orders are built to specification and on schedule. + Attend regular customer commitment meetings to represent the customer and prioritize critical orders. + Inspire a sense of shared purpose within the project team. + Define project scope and objectives with the Customer, Sales Team, Engineering, and Manufacturing, ensuring project members understand expectations. + Prepare, maintain, and submit clear and concise activity/progress reports and time management reports. + Promote customer involvement and apply lessons learned from recent projects. + Communicate project milestones, status updates, and manage potential customer escalation issues. + Serve as a role model by promoting good working relationships across the project. + Ensure careful management of scope creep, communications, and quality. + Monitor budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis. + Build consensus, develop contingency plans, and provide recommended solutions. Essential Skills + Minimum of 5 years working with customers and vendors. + Exposure to project management processes. + Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills. + Excellent leadership and facilitation skills. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills. + Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalency required. + Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering strongly desired. Work Environment This role is based at the Birdsboro mold and tooling shop, which focuses on CNC machining and mold repair and rebuild. The facility houses 34 employees, with 6 in salaried positions and 28 in plant, QC, and inventory control roles. The Project Manager will not have any direct reports. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Birdsboro, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
