What You'll Do

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions under supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Utilize evidence-based practices, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive devices
• Assess patient progress, document treatment outcomes, and communicate effectively with team members
• Support patient and family counseling related to physical disorders
• Support supervision of students and adherence to professional standards and regulations
• Maintain accurate documentation of all services provided per regulatory requirements
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and conferences related to patient care and facility protocols

What You Need

• Active State Licensure as a PTA
• Prior experience in long-term care setting preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team

• Experience with rehabilitative procedures and assistive devices
• Knowledge of clinical documentation practices
