Backfill Contract RN - OR/Surgery

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: Saturday - Monday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

The Operating Room/Surgery unit is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a backfill position. The nurse will be an integral part of a team dedicated to providing high-quality surgical care. The unit is equipped with 11 operating rooms and employs approximately 40 staff members across all shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in various surgical procedures
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have at least one year of general OR experience
• Experience in general surgery, orthopedic, or neuro surgery is required
• If applying for CVOR, a minimum of two years of CVOR experience is mandatory
• Must be willing to work with the Cath lab on TAVR and other related cases
