The Ultrasonographer/Sonographer is responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations in a hospital setting, supporting physicians with high-quality imaging to aid in patient diagnosis and care. Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures utilizing GE equipment for diverse clinical indications.
- Ensure proper patient positioning and preparation to obtain optimal imaging results.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and findings in compliance with hospital protocols.
- Adhere to safety standards and maintain sterile techniques during equipment operation.
- Collaborate with medical staff to deliver comprehensive patient care throughout examinations.
- Participate in on-call and holiday rotations, offering flexible coverage including weekends.
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting as an Ultrasound Tech or Sonographer.
- Hold current ARDMS certification in general/OB and vascular specialties.
- Demonstrate proficiency with GE ultrasound equipment and imaging techniques.
- Exhibit excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Be flexible to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Successful completion of BLS certification.
