Overview Shifts Available: Days (Monday - Friday) Employment Type: Full Time Hours: 8hr shifts – 7:45am to 4:15pm Location: Gadsden Physician Management – Gadsden, AL We are seeking a Data Entry Clerk , sometimes referred to as our Payment Posting Representative or Medical Payment Posting Clerk. The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately posting payments and adjustments to patient accounts while maintaining accurate account information. This role also reconciles daily activity and routes underpayments, denials, and account discrepancies to the appropriate teams for follow-up. Responsibilities Post incoming payments accurately to the appropriate patient accounts. Enter and retrieve payment and account information within billing systems. Apply contractual adjustments to patient accounts as needed. Reconcile daily payment activity and identify account discrepancies. Route underpayments, denials, and unresolved balances to the appropriate department for follow-up.
