Triumph Public High Schools is a Texas-based, tuition-free, public charter high school with 9 schools operating in the State of Texas. Founded in 1990 by Mr. Eduardo Gutierrez and operating as The Student Alternatives Program, we rebranded in 2019 to Triumph Public High Schools. We specialize in serving high school students who are placed at-risk in completing their high school education. Position Overview

Triumph Public High Schools is seeking a dynamic, dedicated and passionate individual with a heart to serve and educate at-risk youth and young adults. As a Math Teacher at Triumph Public High Schools, you will deliver engaging, standards-based instruction that helps students build academic skills, stay on track for graduation, and reach their full potential in your content area.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction aligned to TEKS and charter curriculum in the assigned subject area
• Design and implement lesson plans that support diverse learning styles and student needs
• Monitor, assess, and document student academic progress and attendance
• Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment that supports student learning and behavior
• Collaborate with campus staff, families, and special programs teams to support student success

This position may occasionally require work on Saturdays, during the summer, or travel within the State of Texas.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university
• Demonstrated competency in the assigned subject area through one of the following:
• Academic major or graduate degree in the subject area
• At least 15 college credit hours in the subject area
• Passing score on the TExES or ExCET in the subject area
• One full year of high school-level teaching in the subject
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to pass pre-employment fingerprinting and background check

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid Texas teaching certificate (9-12) in the subject area or core content
• Classroom teaching experience in a public or private school setting, especially at the high school level
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Compensation

• Annual Salary Range: Uncertified: $42,000 - $58,000 / Certified: $47,250 - $63,250 (based on a 187-day work schedule)
• Salary placement is based on education, experience, and credentials
• Salary is prorated from the effective date of hire

(Equivalent to approximately [ Uncertified: $224.60 - $310.16 / Certified: $252.67 - $335.56] per workday, depending on placement.)
