Job Title

Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Location

San Francisco, CA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (9:00–19:30 or 11:00–21:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate on a variety of surgical cases including open and endoscopic procedures
• Perform nursing duties for Otolaryngology–Head and Neck, Craniotomy, Oral and Maxillofacial, Plastic, Dental, and combined Neurosurgery/OHNS procedures
• Assist with free flap reconstructive procedures
• Float to other affiliated facilities as needed based on staffing requirements and qualifications
• Complete required non-billable orientation modules prior to start and annually as required

Required Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand prior to start
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room experience
• Previous travel assignment experience
• Demonstrated ability to both scrub and circulate
• Teaching hospital experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
