A nationally recognized plaintiff litigation firm is seeking a Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join its highly regarded New York City office. This is an exceptional opportunity to work alongside some of the most respected trial attorneys in the state while representing individuals who have suffered catastrophic injuries due to negligence.
The firm has built a reputation for securing significant verdicts and settlements across complex personal injury matters, including construction accidents, medical malpractice, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, and wrongful death claims.
What You'll Do
- Manage a diverse plaintiff personal injury caseload from inception through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery demands and responses.
- Conduct and defend depositions.
- Appear in court for conferences, hearings, and oral arguments.
- Prepare cases for mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial.
- Work directly with clients, expert witnesses, and medical professionals.
- Collaborate with experienced trial attorneys on high-value litigation.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active admission to the New Jersey Bar.
- 4+ years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience.
- Strong legal writing, advocacy, and negotiation skills.
- Experience handling depositions and court appearances.
- Trial experience or a strong desire to develop trial skills is highly valued.
