We are the only Florida-based company that can cater to the specific commercial fuel needs of the industrial, mining, construction, ranching, golf services, automotive, landscaping, marinas, marine vessels, fleet, agricultural and government sectors with reliable service. Palmdale Oil procures its fuel supply from various terminals on both coasts of the state of Florida. We have an immediate opening for a Warehouse Associate at our Tampa location. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a solid background in Warehouse/Inventory Control and a desire to work for a fast-paced corporate organization. In addition to exceptional customer service skills, you must have a "roll-up your sleeves" attitude.Job DescriptionResponsibilities for this position includes:Maintain warehouse inventoryAssist with loading of our drivers' trucks for deliveryKeeping warehouse, office, and property clean and organizedReceive shipmentsLoad and unload box truck dailyOrganize warehouse dailyKeep products in stock by blending drums and pails as neededHelp unload bulk deliveries as neededAssemble and paint fuel tanks to go out to job siteClean bulk tank farms and yardSupporting the Plant Manager with projects as neededJob RequirementsThe required skills for this position are:2-3 years Warehouse experience – preferable in the oil industryPreferred but not required CDL Class B with Tanker and HazMat EndorsementForklift certified preferredAble to Lift 80 poundsAbility to multitask as this position will be working independently and have the ability to prioritize workloadAvailable for overtime as required to meet business needs within the appropriate State/Federal regulationsDetailed orientedBasic computer skills to include Microsoft Office SuiteAble to do basic math, to include calculating sales tax and invoice totalsOil and Lubricants knowledge is a plus, but not requiredExceptional Customer Service SkillsNo fear of heights or confined spacesPositive and Professional DemeanorStable Work HistoryBenefitsOur employees and their well-being are important to us.
