Summary CDS Full Time Event Manager – Product Demonstration Club Demonstration Services (CDS) requires an Event Manager to recruit, hire, and supervise in‑store Product Demonstrators, oversee product preparation and presentation, train staff, and provide excellent service to all Club members. This role requires strong communication with warehouse managers, vendors and in‑store teams and participation in new location grand openings. Oversee product preparation and presentation, including food safety and sanitation. Train Product Demonstrators in demonstration preparation and excellent customer service. Communicate between multiple managers, vendors and demonstrators. Participate in new location grand openings as required. Direct all activities related to successful events, promotion and sales of vendor products. Communicate strategies and tactics to achieve sales, service and operational excellence. Support the maintenance and ongoing development of corporate governance framework, policies and procedures. Collaborate with District Manager to evaluate event performance metrics, including execution rates, sales performance, labor hours and operational costs and make adjustments as necessary. Achieve defined revenue and net income objectives through sales activation, strategy and expense management. Optimize customer satisfaction and loyalty through improved operations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required); associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. Two to four years of related experience in retail, hospitality, or food environments. 3–5 years of experience in a client‑side, branded, consumer‑packaged goods company or a combination of supplier‑side and client‑side experience. Detail oriented with excellent leadership and communication skills. Proven ability to lead well‑performing teams. Ability to exercise independent judgement. Ability to coach and counsel employees and take correct measures as needed. Flexibility and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Flexible and adaptable to changing projects or business environment. Track record of building and maintaining customer/client relationships. Ability to direct, lead, and develop people. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook, and web browsers. NEHA Professional Food Handler Certification required. Environmental & Physical Requirements Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job in an office, field, retail store, or warehouse environment. The role typically requires the ability to spend 66 %+ hours each work day engaging in physical activity, lifting or pushing up to 50 lb, standing on feet for long periods, using products or cooking food as appropriate, and may require working in extremely cold conditions (e.g., refrigerated and freezer sections). Travel and driving may also be required. Proper safety practices when handling products or cooking are essential.
