CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs our Charge Entry Clerk, you will diligently manage daily demographics and charge entry.Every day you will accurately process client data and charges, proactively resolve any entry problems, and effectively communicate with management to ensure client satisfaction.To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of billing standards to ensure precise and timely service.Registration of new patients in the practice management system for outreach or other services not on EMR (paper fee-tickets).Manual data entry of charges performed outside of the electronic health record.Process encounters held in the work queue or task lists.Organize paper charge tickets for coding staff.Maintain billing and coding paperwork, including scanning necessary paperwork as required.Perform charge reconciliation as assigned.Job RequirementsRequiredHigh School Graduate General Studies and 1-3 years 1 to 2 years billing experience in a health care environmentCommonSpirit Medical Group (Mountain Management Services) is a leading provider of comprehensive office management services and affiliated physicians in Southeast Tennessee and North Georgia.
