We put the right customer in the right vehicle, on the right terms, on their path to ownership with transparent, no-haggle dealerships nationwide.Responsibilities of the Job (Or Better Known as, Your Next Destination)Responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and performing advanced vehicle repairs and maintenance, performing emissions testing (where applicable), vehicle movement, inventory management, repair documentation, and computer utilization.Perform inspections, maintenance and repairs on multiple makes and models of DriveTime inventory vehicles.Explain automotive repairs and issues to management to minimize re-work and delays in production.Proper documentation of all work performed in DriveTime systems.Keep area clean and organized to maintain the highest level of safety and compliance.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (The Good Stuff)Must be proficient in automotive repairs.Must be able to troubleshoot basic automotive concerns.Must be able to communicate the causes and recommended corrections for vehicle issues.Must be able to meet metric performance targets.Must be able to learn and operate basic computer systems.Must be organized and punctual.Must maintain a safe and compliant workspace.Must be able to learn and comply with all DriveTime standards.PerksFull medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, wellness program, competitive pay, closed Sundays, weekends off (except during peak season), and PTO for full-time and part-time employees.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
