Phlebotomist *Per Diem*- Providence Kodiak Island

We are hiring for a Phlebotomist position at Providence Kodiak Alaska Medical Center in Kodiak, AK. The position is per diem, 0.01 FTE, day shift. Hours per week are as needed. Responsibilities Provide efficient, accurate, and courteous service for PKIMC patients and residents of the Extended Care Facility. Collect and receive specimens for all patients in accordance with medical center and laboratory policies, procedures, and Federal/State regulations. Required Qualifications H.S. Diploma or GED Upon hire: National Phlebotomy Technician, National Medical Assistant Certification, National Laboratory Technician, National Emergency Medical Technician, or Alaska Emergency Medical Technician License Preferred Qualifications Completion of a phlebotomy accredited program 1 year of phlebotomy experience Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $19.23 - $28.55 per hour. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, and bonuses.
