Tax Manager

Job Title: Tax Manager / Senior Tax ManagerJob Location: HybridJob Salary: $150k - $190k (DOE)Requirements: 5-10+ Years of Public Accounting Tax Experience and CPA ActivePosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead part of our Tax Department and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various tax areas and will be responsible for tax planning, research, and audits while providing strategic guidance to our clients.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities for clients.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international tax regulations.Conduct thorough tax research to provide accurate and timely advice.Manage the preparation and filing of corporate, individual, and state tax returns.Oversee tax audits and coordinate with external auditors as necessary.Prepare financial reports related to tax obligations and compliance.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IRS regulations and tax law changes.Provide training and guidance to junior tax staff and peers.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.Assist in strategic planning and decision-making processes regarding tax matters.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree or CPA (Required).Minimum of 5-10+ years of experience in tax management or related field.Strong knowledge of corporate tax, tax planning, and state and federal taxation.Experience with international tax regulations is a plus.Proficient in tax software and financial reporting tools.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and client management abilities.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
