Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and identify suitable therapeutic interventions.

  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, employing techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to promote healing and resilience.

  • Deliver timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring a safe environment for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients who have experienced trauma, including those grappling with PTSD, acute stress responses, and other trauma-related disorders. You will engage with diverse patient populations, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet their unique needs. This role requires a strong understanding of the complexities of trauma and the ways it affects mental health, allowing you to provide effective treatments that promote healing and recovery.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Pennsylvania.

  • Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, particularly in trauma-focused treatment.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

  • Demonstrated expertise in delivering evidence-based trauma therapies and interventions.
  • \n
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate demeanor and non-judgmental approach.

  • Ability to remain calm in high-stress situations while providing support to clients.

  • Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range between $90,000 and $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
