DTS – Google Cloud Platform Security & Platform Compliance (Direct Client) – Plano, TX / Jersey City, NJ DTS is looking for an experienced professional to lead GCP security engineering and cloud governance for a direct client. Responsibilities & Qualifications Google Cloud Platform Security Engineering & Cloud Governance. 6–9 years of experience implementing cloud security controls and governance frameworks within GCP environments. Strong understanding of GCP security guardrails, including Org Policies, IAM hardening, logging requirements, encryption standards, and secure‑by‑default onboarding practices. Terraform automation, Python, and security compliance. Proven experience leveraging Terraform and Python to automate security controls, compliance enforcement, and cloud infrastructure governance. Skilled at translating regulatory and security requirements into implementable technical standards, baselines, and operational controls. Audit readiness, risk management, and operational security. Experience supporting audit‑ready cloud environments through evidence retention, monitoring standards, remediation tracking, and risk exception workflows. Strong collaboration and troubleshooting skills with the ability to partner across security, engineering, compliance, and platform teams to reduce control gaps and onboarding rework.
