Key responsibilities of the RN – Critical Care – Travel include:

• Meet expectations of applicable leadership competencies.
• Provide nursing care using the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and care givers.

Requirements of the RN – Critical Care – Travel include:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred
• 1 year of experience in critical care nursing preferred
• BLS required (AHA only)
• ACLS required (AHA only)
• RN License in state of TX or compact
