Full-Time Lawn Care Technician

Monday–Friday | Year-Round | Paid Training

Lawn Doctor of DeSoto County is hiring a full-time Lawn Care Technician to join our growing team. We're a locally owned and operated company that has served DeSoto County and North Mississippi for 25 years. 

No lawn care experience? That's okay. We'll train the right person.

What You'll Do

You'll manage a daily route providing professional lawn treatments to our customers, including:

• Applying fertilizer, weed control, and other lawn treatments
• Operating motorized spreaders and walk-behind equipment
• Talking with customers and answering lawn care questions
• Recommending additional services when appropriate
• Performing basic equipment and shop maintenance
• Providing dependable, high-quality service every day

This is NOT a mowing or landscaping position.

Know What to Expect

This is a year-round outdoor position, January through December.

Our technicians typically work Monday through Friday . The job requires working outdoors in all seasons. Mississippi summers are hot, and there will be extended periods when you'll work outside in temperatures approaching or exceeding 100&degree;F . 

If you enjoy being outdoors, don't mind getting hot and sweaty, and take pride in putting in a solid day's work, you'll fit right in.

• Comfortable with physically demanding outdoor work
• Able to lift 50+ lbs. and operate lawn care equipment
• At least 18 years old
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Reliable transportation to and from work
