Position Title: Sanitation Technician

Wage: $20.50 - $21.50/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:00am - 4:30pm

Sanitation Technician Responsibilities:
- Disassemble and inspect all components for damage or anything out of the ordinary
- Clean all components based on standard operating procedures or work instructions
- Communicate with Maintenance Supervisor regarding change-over schedule, planning ahead in order to minimize downtime
- Document data associated with sanitation and review data to find room for improvement
- Create or Improve standard operating procedures or work instructions related to sanitation process
- Evaluate current tools available for sanitation and make recommendations for improvement
- Participate in Continuous Improvement activities throughout the company
- Support safety-related improvements related to process / equipment
- Assist with additional duties such as material handling and compounding as required

Requirements for Sanitation Technician:
- At least six months of experience in disassembly, inspection, cleaning, and re-assembly of machines / components of a machine or other transferable experience / education
- Hands-on experience with good plant hygiene practices, microbiological control(s) and machine material compliance (e.g., food/OTC grade/contact)
- Experience with sanitation and maintaining equipment preferred
- Excellent communication skills,
- Basic computer skills
- Demonstrated ability to use hand tools effectively
- Ability to interpret and use mechanical drawings / machine manuals
