Blue Ridge Health is currently seeking a Mental Health Therapist to be part of our Behavioral Health Team.

A newly hired Therapist/Behavioral Health Service Provider can receive a sign on bonus of up to $5,000.00, depending on the service agreement chosen. Service contracts are for 1, 2, or 3 years.

What You'll Do:

The Behavioral Health Therapist is responsible for providing outpatient mental health treatment/service to patients in the clinic setting. The position requires interaction with provider agencies and referral sources, participating in team meetings when appropriate and as requested, and offering education and support to the community.

Disclaimer: This role requires flexibility to transport clients/patients to organization-sponsored services or resources that address their basic and clinical needs. Drivers transporting clients/patients or driving company vehicles are to be age 21 or greater. For those using their personal vehicles to transport clients/patients, a certificate of insurance is required demonstrating a minimum coverage of $100,000 (bodily injury), $300,000 (property damage), and $100,000 (uninsured motorist protection).

What We're Looking For:

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Required (fully or provisionally licensed or license eligible)
  • 2 years clinical work experience preferred
  • LCAS or LCAS-A licensure a plus
  • Ability to perform comprehensive clinical assessments and develop and implement viable treatment plans
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records preferred
  • Experience in individual and group therapy including recovery work
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Bilingual a plus
