Accounts Receivable Clerk
Location: Missouri City, TX 77489
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Missouri City, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounts receivable activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the accounting department through reporting, data entry, and customer account management. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) is highly preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
- Monitor customer accounts and perform follow-ups regarding outstanding balances and payments.
- Obtain, maintain, and update financial data for accounting records.
- Post accounting transactions and entries into Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision).
- Compute, classify, and accurately record financial information.
- Review and verify the accuracy of business transactions and supporting documentation.
- Generate Accounts Receivable and financial reports as needed.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Organize and maintain financial files and documentation.
- Assist with account reconciliations and discrepancy resolution.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding payment status and account inquiries.
- Support the accounting team with administrative and clerical duties as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) is strongly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
