Electronics Technician

Electronics Technician PositionDuties for the Electronics Technician position include, but are not limited to, the following:Assists engineers in the maintenance of instrument calibration systems that provide a working standard against which field instruments will be tested and calibrated.Assists in the development of calibration procedures, recommends changes and improvements to existing procedures, which are used to evaluate the instruments accurately and identify possible deviations from inspection requirements or national standards.Determines the need and initiates requisitions for spare parts for both the safety and industrial hygiene instruments and associated calibration systems that the technician works on or with.Maintains records of work performed and prepares special reports on instrument performance as assigned.As the employee progresses, the assignments will become more difficult and complex with less supervision.
