RN - CVICU - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night 3x12-Hour Shift (18:45 - 07:15)

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ICU nursing, particularly with Cardiac and Neuro patients, as the unit serves both types of patients. This position requires both technical expertise and strong critical thinking skills to manage complex patient cases.

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a mixed ICU environment.
• Monitor and manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
• Administer medications and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips.
• Perform assessments and provide interventions for cardiac and neuro patients.
• Utilize EPIC charting system for documentation and care coordination.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Minimum of 18 months of ICU experience; 2 years preferred. Experience with cardiac and neuro patients required. Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required at the time of submission. NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to the start date. Epic experience at a level 3 or 4 is required. Travelers must be nicotine-free; a negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine is required.
