Radiology Technologist - Special Procedures

This position offers a schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, five days a week, with the possibility of four 10-hour shifts.

The Radiology Technologist specializing in special procedures is responsible for supporting the mission and vision of the department through professional behaviors that reflect organizational values. This role involves performing specific special procedures, as well as vascular and cardiovascular procedures, to ensure quality diagnostic studies.

Responsibilities:

• Perform special procedure examinations while maintaining high quality in patient care.
• Coordinate special procedure examinations to ensure continuity of care.
• Assist in the implementation of patient care plans and contribute to efficient departmental operations.
• Demonstrate commitment to professional growth and competence.
• Dependably perform job responsibilities to support effective departmental operations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Associate's degree in Radiology Technology or a graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program.
• ARRT registration is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification must be obtained within one (1) year of hire.
• Preferred: One (1) year of experience in Vascular and Cardiac Cath lab or Special Procedures.
• Michigan state license verification is required for nursing professionals.

Assignment Duration:

This is a 13-week contract position.
