Security Analyst

Compensation : $75,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on experience

Location : Onsite - Oklahoma City, OK

Position : Security Analyst

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Security Analyst to join their team!

The Security Analyst will support the organization’s networking and security environment, with a primary focus on email security, phishing review, and security ticket triage. This person will investigate suspicious emails, determine whether they are legitimate threats, malware, or false positives, and help escalate or remediate issues as needed. The role will also provide support across security tools and general network/security tickets, helping ensure threats are addressed quickly while allowing senior network resources to stay focused on more complex infrastructure work.

Responsibilities:

• Triage incoming tickets related to networking/security
  Review suspicious or phishing emails
• Determine whether emails are legitimate threats, malware, or false positives
• Escalate more complex issues as needed
• Help manage and support security tools within the environment
• Assist with general networking/security-related tasks

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Email security experience 
• Experience reviewing phishing emails 
• Ability to identify malware, phishing attempts, and false positives 
• Security ticket triage experience 
• Microsoft 365 / Defender experience 
• General networking/security knowledge 
• Email security is the biggest piece of this role 
• They need someone who can confidently review phishing emails, triage security tickets, and help protect the environment while keeping the Network Admin freed up for heavier work.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• CrowdStrike Falcon exposure is helpful 
• Mimecast experience is helpful 
• Security Certifications
