Store ManagerPosition Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced cannabis retail facility. The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing retail operations, leading and developing the store team, maintaining compliance, managing inventory, and creating an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate has strong cannabis retail experience and understands what it takes to operate a successful, compliant dispensary. This role is a great opportunity for an experienced Assistant Manager who is ready to take the next step into a Store Manager position. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily retail operations and ensure the store runs efficiently and effectively. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing retail team. Manage employee scheduling, attendance, performance, and day-to-day accountability. Create a positive, welcoming, and knowledgeable customer experience. Ensure all employees follow company policies, procedures, and cannabis regulations. Maintain compliance with all applicable state and local cannabis laws and regulations. Oversee inventory management, including receiving, stocking, organization, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation. Monitor inventory levels and work with leadership to identify product needs and prevent shortages or excess inventory. Ensure accurate completion of all required retail, inventory, and compliance documentation. Review sales performance and identify opportunities to improve revenue, customer retention, and overall store performance. Support promotions, product launches, and in-store initiatives. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and the local cannabis community. Support social media initiatives and customer acquisition efforts to increase store awareness and traffic. Monitor customer feedback and address concerns professionally and effectively. Partner with corporate/leadership teams to communicate store needs, performance, staffing, and operational challenges. Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and compliant retail environment. Lead by example and promote a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture. Key Requirements Strong cannabis retail experience. Previous experience in a dispensary or cannabis retail environment. Proven inventory management experience. Strong understanding of cannabis compliance and regulatory requirements. Strong leadership and team management skills. Experience coaching, developing, and holding employees accountable. Assistant Manager experience with a desire to take the next step into a Store Manager role is highly encouraged. Experience with social media, local marketing, and/or customer acquisition. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance. Ability to lead by example and create a positive customer and employee experience.
