Description

• Assess patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments, crafting personalized treatment strategies
• Deliver physical therapy services focusing on enhancing mobility, building strength, improving balance, and restoring function
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, physicians, caseworkers, and other rehabilitation specialists to maximize patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families in understanding treatment goals, discharge plans, and home exercise programs
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress in line with facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in multidisciplinary team rounds and conference discussions to ensure integrated patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Valid state licensure for Physical Therapists
• CPR certification preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., in geriatrics or neurology) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Significant prior experience is strongly desired
