Job Summary EMCOR Government Service is hiring a Trades Lead in Bethesda, MD. The role includes supervising personnel, performing maintenance and repair of equipment at the site, and other tasks as directed. The schedule is 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and the position is covered by the CBA for Local 99. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Supervise and assist with the maintenance of site equipment and building structure. Prepare schedules in a timely manner and distribute assignments. Supervise the performance of the preventive maintenance of all equipment on site. Institute corrective action for any deficiencies found during the job. Provide monthly reports on the preventive maintenance system. Attend meetings with the Client and USG and be prepared to provide corrective solutions to site issues. Supervise maintenance mechanics/general maintenance. Monitor subcontractors in their tasks and provide reports when needed. Perform other tasks as directed by the supervisor. Qualifications Construction background and familiarity with operations and maintenance. Must obtain and maintain an ISSA TS/SCI with Poly. 3 to 5 years of experience in maintenance and repairs on commercial‑industrial building equipment, including door controls, carpet installation, painting/staining, drywall installation, steel studs/track, vinyl composite tile, custom woodwork, suspended ceiling(s), and concrete repairs. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and specifications. Practical knowledge of facilities maintenance and building operations maintenance. Physical Demands Heavy physical effort (lift/carry up to 50 lb; push up to 100 lb). Prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing/walking. Push/pull or move/lift equipment, supplies, and parts.
