Real-Time Analytics Engineer (Flink, Kafka) Location: Alpharetta, GA (willing to travel to client locations) Employment Type: Full-Time (W2) Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Real-Time Analytics Engineer to build and manage real-time data processing systems using Apache Flink and Kafka. This role focuses on delivering event-driven analytics solutions with Python, Scala, or Java for low-latency insights. Key Responsibilities
- Develop real-time analytics pipelines using Apache Flink and Kafka for event-driven data processing.
- Implement and optimize data workflows to support low-latency analytics and business intelligence.
- Design Kafka-based event streaming systems to handle high-throughput data flows.
- Write efficient code in Python, Scala, or Java to process and analyze streaming data.
- Collaborate with data teams to integrate real-time analytics into broader data platforms.
- Monitor and troubleshoot streaming pipelines to ensure performance and reliability in production.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of experience as a Real-Time Analytics Engineer with a focus on Apache Flink and Kafka.
- Proficiency in building event-driven systems for real-time analytics using Python, Scala, or Java.
- Experience with Kafka for event streaming and its integration with analytics frameworks like Flink.
- Strong understanding of real-time data processing and distributed systems design.
- Familiarity with cloud-based streaming services like AWS Kinesis or GCP Dataflow for analytics workloads.
- Exposure to advanced Flink features like stateful processing or complex event processing (CEP).
- Knowledge of monitoring tools like Grafana for real-time analytics observability.
