Overall Summary Responsible for strategically and tactically developing, implementing, and communicating strategies, goals, and key data that improve supply chain performance and reduce costs. Manage operational excellence across supply chain, manufacturing value streams, and product lines; improve quality, assure regulatory compliance, and support competitive growth. Drive shop‑floor transformation and continuous‑improvement culture. Implement process‑oriented, data‑driven manufacturing strategy to maximize equipment utilization and reduce work in process. Your Duties Will Include Lead and direct all manufacturing production and supply chain activities (production plans, scheduling, budgets, progress toward objectives) Collaborate across the supply‑chain network to insure multi‑source capability and reliability in product production and delivery Ensure a safe working environment and focus on risk reduction and elimination in the workplace Lead ongoing analysis of labor, machine, engineering, and facility capacity; develop growth plans for future demand Participate in planning of new products and processes (design, risk analysis, process validations) Monitor and analyze process performance in manufacturing and at suppliers Organize and promote company‑wide quality improvement efforts; improve the quality system’s overall compliance, effectiveness, and efficiency while reducing costs Lead the review of product failures, complaint investigations, and corrective/preventive actions Direct the supply‑planning function to support forecasting of inventory demands and track sales trends Manage purchasing activities, supplier base, and vendor performance Lead in customer experience, logistics, and product distribution areas of the business Attract, retain, hold accountable, and encourage individual performance and development of key personnel for future assignments through appropriate formal feedback, training, development, and other experiences Possess thorough knowledge of overall supply‑chain management including MRP, DRP, ERP, forecasting, manufacturing attainment, and on‑time/in‑full product delivery Comply with regulatory requirements (Quality Systems Regulations, ISO, MDD, Quality Manual, EHS, etc.) and stay abreast of emerging regulatory trends Other Duties This job description is not intended to be a comprehensive list of all duties, responsibilities, or activities that may be required of the employee. Manufacturing experience in one or more of the following disciplines (plus a bonus): medical device manufacturing, foundry, CNC machining, metal finishing, cleaning of metals/plastics, packaging, quality Proficiency and experience in capacity planning and development; budgeting for multiple profit centers; development of quality/productivity plans; new product process development; manufacturing flow analysis and implementation; personnel selection, management, and development; transformation and culture building #J-18808-Ljbffr MicroPort Orthopedics
