About the Role
We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for a newly created role driven by business expansion. This opportunity offers the chance to make a significant impact within one of the company's fastest-growing markets. This position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about building relationships, driving growth through channel partners, and contributing to a high-performing sales organization.
Work Schedule: 50% field-based - 50% remote/home office.
Location: California (preferred) or Arizona.
Territory to cover: California, Arizona, and New Mexico.
In This Role, A Typical Day Will Look Like:
- Manage and grow a channel partner network to drive territory performance
- Develop and execute strategies for business development and account growth
- Identify and onboard new channel partners while strengthening existing relationships
- Conduct regular meetings with partners.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support sales initiatives and territory expansion
- Maintain and update customer and partner information using CRM tools
- Balance strategic planning and field engagement.
The Essential Requirements of the Job Include:
- A degree in a science-related field such as Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or equivalent is an asset.
- Experience in water, wastewater, or related industries (chemical, industrial, or oil & gas sectors with water exposure)
- Strong understanding of channel partner or distributor sales models.
- Proven ability in business development and account management.
- Hands-on experience utilizing a CRM tool (we use Salesforce)
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time within the assigned territory.
