Desired Qualifications:

• Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Previous experience working with children or within schools is a plus
• Ability to develop and implement effective, data-driven treatment plans
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and other professionals
• Excellent time management, organization, and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students functional abilities and create tailored therapy goals and strategies
• Provide direct or consultative occupational therapy services in classrooms and therapy rooms
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to integrate therapy interventions into daily routines
• Monitor, document, and report students progress, adjusting goals as needed to ensure continued growth
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing insights and recommendations regarding student needs
• Educate school staff on strategies and tools to support student participation and skill development
