Description - Your Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests across various disciplines-chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-adhering to established standards and protocols.
  • Evaluate test results for precision, identify and solve discrepancies, perform preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
  • Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required.
  • Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor newcomers, and uphold high laboratory quality standards.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical or Clinical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.
Certifications
  • ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hiring.
  • Maintain current certification throughout your employment.
Skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with healthcare teams.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and problem-solve effectively, especially in fast-paced or high-pressure situations.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, crucial for quality control and documentation.
