Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a dynamic educational setting near Ringgold, VA. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) within a K-12 environment. With three openings available, you’ll have the flexibility to work across multiple sites depending on the needs of each caseload. This position is ready for an immediate start and continues through May 2027, offering consistent, full-time hours each week.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active OT or COTA license issued by the state of Virginia
• Experience in a school-based setting is preferred, though not required
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt strategies to serve diverse student populations from Kindergarten to 12th grade
• Commitment to fostering support and success for students with varying needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across assigned school locations
• Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving students’ functional skills and participation in school activities
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals and educational outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and district policies
• Engage in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes
